Beginner
The set of best compromises: options where you can’t improve one thing without making another worse.
Novice
When there are several goals (say, low power and high speed), the options that no other option beats on every goal at once. Each point on the front is a different trade-off.
Expert
Multi-objective optimizers return the front instead of one answer and leave the final weighting to the engineer. With noisy objectives, points near the front can swap places on a rerun.
